P.G.D.M.L.T. is a one-year postgraduate program affiliated with Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan, since 2018. The eligibility for admission is Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with subjects of Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry.
This course is a branch of paramedical science that deals with diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases using clinical laboratory tests. This involves analysis of the blood, body fluids, and tissues. Medical Laboratory Technologists perform most of their tasks such as performing the test, and preparation of slides using laboratory equipment. This course equips the candidates with all the necessary skills and knowledge to handle lab equipment and accurately perform laboratory tests.
