Industrial visits are tools to introduce students to real-life examples in all sectors of management, whether they are production, marketing, human resources, or finance. So that MBA students were taken to an industrial visit at Tastea Anand Namkeen. Their students visited Anand Namkeen’s warehouse, production facility, and finished goods area. Milkera Prospera is among the most valuable dairy factories near the campus of Maktabah Jafariyah. Students also got a chance to visit this facility. There they learned how the most perishable product is treated with care and purity. Students learned how, from one raw material of milk, several products like yogurt, buttermilk, ghee, and sweets are made. Here students got to know that in the world of printed and digital marketing, one brand is working for quality and getting its customers from word-of-mouth marketing.
Self-awareness is an essential tool to identify one’s abilities and weaknesses so that they can find out what they are best at, what improvements they need to make in the future, and what changes they can make to improve themselves. With a relaxed environment, students were given a space to talk to their future selves so that they could talk to them and ask what changes they should make now to make their future bright.
Students were given Accounting Terminology to Present from Their Subject of Business Statistics. They made PowerPoint presentations and presented them very well. Everyone was given different and connected terminologies so that they got their own teachers and learned from others too. This helps students to co-relate their concepts with each other and get real-life examples too.
Maktabah Jafariyah organised a clay modelling competition on September 14, 2024, to celebrate cultural heritage and creativity through tactile art. The event featured various themes, including “Our Festivals,” “World Monuments and Wonders,” “Fictional Characters,” and “Nature,” which provided students with many avenues to explore art and reflect on culture. The hands-on creative initiative attracted 86 students, each of whom brought their own unique artistic vision to life through skilled clay modelling.
Students were given three topics to discuss. Topics were 1. The role of technology in education—Is digital learning a permanent solution or temporary trend? 2. India’s presence in international sports. 3. Disaster Management in India. Students’ participation was good, and they were enthusiastic regarding the topics given to them. Involvement of everyone was also seen.
On September 3, 2024, a spot photography event was held, bringing aspiring photographers together to capture our campus’s architecture and natural beauty. The event encouraged participants to take stunning photos of campus buildings blending with the natural landscape.
61 enthusiastic participants took part in this event, showcasing their unique artistic perspectives. The event aligned with modern digital photography trends, where participants shared the captured moments through a straightforward “snap and upload” format. Through their lenses, they captured the blend of buildings and nature, creating a vivid story of their daily learning environment.
In this presentation, each student was given 5-7 minutes to present a PowerPoint presentation on their hobby. It was Their First Presentation.
Overall, it was good to see most of the students demonstrating for the first time with such good confidence. Topics on which Students presented were Sports, Reading, Photography, and so on.
On August 21, 2024, the college held a Smart Investor Awareness Programme. It drew 90 first-year students eager to learn about financial markets. This initiative educated students about investment risks and market opportunities. Interactive sessions taught participants about responsible investment practices. They learned practical tools to make informed financial decisions. The programme aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world financial literacy. It sought to deepen understanding of sustainable investment strategies and the market as a whole.
Quizzes are good at making students interactive while learning. Some students have more knowledge of the market than books. That’s why we organized a business knowledge quiz. There was a general and buzzer round in which they were asked questions regarding different industries, logos, and taglines.
