Through Community Outreach Programmes, Maktabah Jafariyah aims to uplift and empower individuals, promote social welfare, and contribute to the betterment of society. Our initiatives are designed to address a wide spectrum of needs, from education and healthcare to environmental sustainability, promotion of trade, and disaster relief.
The Trade Fair was launched with three core objectives: Education, Exhibition and Sales. It exemplifies our commitment to practical learning; bridging the gap between students' theoretical knowledge and real-world application. The event features a wide array of products across industries, creating a vibrant atmosphere that attracts visitors for shopping, dining, and family outings.
The Husaini Blood Donation Camp, a cherished tradition of Maktabah Jafariyah that honours the spirit of sacrifice and service exemplified by Hazrat Imam Husain (as), promotes voluntary blood donations to save lives. Over the span of the last 12 years, more than 50,000 bottles of blood have been donated.
Our Civic Sense campaign promotes hygiene and sanitation through cleanliness drives, awareness sessions, and waste management programmes. We aim to instill a sense of responsibility for clean surroundings in our community.
Through this programme, our primary objective is to provide a user-friendly platform for adults from nearby villages to acquire essential skills. We focus on fundamental day-to-day abilities such as basic computer operation, reading skills, etc.
Our Drought Relief Programme swiftly delivers essential supplies like food and clean water to communities affected by drought. Through collective efforts, we aim to aid in the recovery process for those impacted by these disasters.
Maktabah Jafariyah supports Mohra Bachhai School in Surankote Taluka, Poonch District, Jammu & Kashmir, providing infrastructure guidance, and essential resources like stationery and educational materials. Our efforts aim to enhance the learning environment and contribute to the growth and development of the school.
The Haq Na Himayati programme raises awareness about ethical values and the rights of others in daily life. We focus on responsible water usage, waste reduction, preventing illegal land occupation, and advocating for property rights.
Our efforts for eco-friendly practices, aligned with our core values, extends to various areas, from water conservation to energy efficiency and environmental stewardship.
Demonstrating our dedication to environmental conservation, we have integrated solar power systems across our buildings, with a combined capacity of 68 KW.
In line with our environmental initiatives, we are planning to implement a sewage treatment plant to ensure the safe disposal or reuse of wastewater, promoting public health and environmental protection.
Through strategic collection and storage, we harness rainwater for non-potable uses like irrigation and groundwater replenishment. Our initial phase has resulted in the creation of an artificial lake, and we are planning to expand this initiative to make an even greater impact on water conservation.
Additionally, we are considering the development of a sludge composition process to manage and repurpose sewage sludge, further enhancing our efforts to sustainable waste management.
With a focus on sustainability, we have planted over 6000 trees on our campus, contributing to a greener environment in the campus. Additionally, rather than simply removing trees, we transplant them whenever and wherever possible, setting an example for responsible environmental management.
