The Department of Business Incubation, Maktabah Jafariyah School of Management, successfully organised the Food Founders Symposium 2025 on 30th August 2025 at the Maktabah Jafariyah Campus, Sidhpur. The symposium brought together emerging foodpreneurs, innovators, and industry professionals to explore opportunities and challenges in the food processing sector.
The event commenced with an introductory session, where participants shared their entrepreneurial journeys, and the Department of Business Incubation outlined its role in supporting startups.
The highlight of the symposium was the keynote address by Mr. Nazar Piyarji, Managing Director of Anand Namkeen, Sidhpur, who spoke on “From Struggles to Success: The Anand Namkeen Story.” His inspiring words motivated participants to embrace perseverance, innovation, and resilience in their entrepreneurial pursuits.
This was followed by an open discussion and networking session, where participants actively exchanged ideas on sourcing, manufacturing, packaging, licensing, marketing, and sales. The interaction fostered collaboration and knowledge sharing across different segments of the food value chain.
The day concluded with a networking lunch, providing an excellent platform for building deeper connections and exploring future partnerships.
The symposium successfully met its objectives of encouraging food entrepreneurship, offering industry insights, and strengthening the startup ecosystem, leaving participants motivated and better prepared to build scalable and sustainable food ventures.
